If you provide your mobile phone number to Peak GS, whether through our website, a service form, or verbally during onboarding, you may receive text messages from us related to:
● IT support ticket updates and service notifications
● Appointment and maintenance scheduling reminders
● Information about our managed IT, cybersecurity, compliance, and cloud services
Text messages sent by Peak GS to U.S. mobile numbers are sent through a 10-digit long code (10DLC) number registered with The Campaign Registry (TCR), as required by major U.S. wireless carriers for application-to-person (A2P) messaging. Registration does not guarantee delivery; carriers may filter, delay, or block messages consistent with their own network management and anti-spam practices, for reasons outside our control.
You opt in to this program by checking the applicable consent checkbox on our website forms, or by providing verbal consent to a Peak GS representative, who will record your consent and mobile number on your behalf. Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any service.
Consent applies only to Peak GS and only to the specific category of messages you agreed to receive (for example, service notifications versus promotional offers). We do not treat consent given for one purpose as authorization to send unrelated categories of messages, and we do not purchase, rent, or otherwise acquire phone numbers or consent from third-party lists.
We retain a record of your consent, including when and how it was obtained, for as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements.
Message frequency varies depending on your account activity, open support tickets, and communication preferences.
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Peak GS is not responsible for any charges from your carrier.
You may cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message you receive. After you opt out, we will send a one-time confirmation message, and you will not receive further text messages from us in that category unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by contacting us using the information in Section 10 below. If you have opted in to more than one category of messages (for example, service alerts and promotional offers), you may need to opt out of each separately, and we will identify the applicable category in our confirmation message.
For assistance, reply HELP to any message, or contact us directly at (949) 438-4250.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in status with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This does not include service providers who send text messages on our behalf (such as our messaging platform), who are contractually prohibited from using your mobile information for any purpose other than providing services to Peak GS.
Peak GS will not use its text messaging program to send content that is illegal, deceptive, or high-risk under carrier and industry standards, including content related to high-risk financial services, debt collection or forgiveness programs, controlled substances, gambling, or messages designed to evade spam-filtering or opt-out mechanisms.
Text messaging is delivered through third-party carrier networks that Peak GS does not control. We cannot guarantee that any message will be delivered, or delivered on a particular timeline, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most major U.S. wireless carriers.
For full terms governing our text messaging program, see our SMS Terms & Conditions page.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
Service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, messaging platforms, payment processing, and IT tooling vendors, under contractual obligations to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify
Legal and regulatory authorities, where required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Peak GS, our clients, or others
Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections
We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties for their marketing purposes, as described in Section 3.
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information we collect and the client systems we manage, consistent with industry-standard practices for managed service providers serving regulated industries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
